Teachers Become Servers to Aid Cancer-Fighting Girl
Applebee's to host fundraiser for Margaret Walling Saturday, March 2.

Community efforts to help an ailing sixth grader battling cancer continue, and the latest effort will see teachers working as food servers, according to nj.com.
School staff and teachers will serve breakfast meals at Applebee’s on Mountain Avenue Saturday to help raise funds for Margaret Walling, a Hackettstown Middle School student currently undergoing treatment for a brain tumor.
Breakfast will be served by teachers and faculty from 8 to 10 a.m. and includes pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs and a beverage, the report said.

Staff from Willow Grove School, Hatchery Hill School, and Hackettstown High School are all participating, the report said.
Fundraisers for Walling have been held by the Hackettstown Tigers Wrestling Club in conjunction with the Centenary Cyclones Wrestling Team, as well as an event with proceeds from Westside Hair Care.

The Applebee’s event requires tickets, which can be obtained by calling Jenn Zacchia at 908-852-0052; Teri Cichlar at 908-763-0777; or Michele Morpeth at 908-872-9263. Tickets are $10 each, the report said.
