A GoFundMe has been launched to help the teen's family with funeral costs.

WARREN COUNTY, NJ — A teenager is dead following a car crash this weekend in Warren County, according to officials.

Authorities said that Lanzo’s Dodge sedan, headed north on 519, was hit by a Ford pick-up truck headed south, sending it head-on into a nearby snowbank.

Lanzo was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries on Monday, according to officials.

The driver of the pick-up truck sustained minor injuries, police added.

The crash remains under investigation, and no criminal charges have been filed at this time, police said.

In a GoFundMe launched to help with Lanzo’s funeral costs, his family said he was headed home from work in his newly purchased car when he hit ice in the road, spiraling his car into oncoming traffic, and therefore the pick-up truck.

The GoFundMe added that Lanzo donated his heart and other organs to those in need when he passed.

“Christopher was a hardworking 19-year-old with two jobs, saving diligently to buy his own car,” the fundraiser reads. “He was known for his great work ethic, kind manners, and his love for football. Always happy and eager to learn, Christopher brought joy to those around him and was a source of pride for his family and friends.”
