Teen Tried Selling Pot at High School, Cops Say
Allamuchy Township resident and Hackettstown High School student caught with marijuana, police report.

A Hackettstown High School was arrested Friday after police learned he was in possession of drugs on school grounds, Sgt. Darren Tynan said.
Hackettstown Police responded to the school just before noon in reference to a student in possession of suspected marijuana, Tynan said. During an investigation it was learned Samuel Roff, 18, of Allamuchy Township was attempting to sell marijuana to another student, Tynan said.
Roff was arrested at the school and taken into custody. He was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana in a school zone, attempt to distribute marijuana and attempt to distribute marijuana in a school zone.

Roff was unable to post $7,500 bail and lodged in Warren County Correctional Facility.
