Teens Flee After Alleged Drug Exchange, Cops Say
19-year-olds apprehended following foot chase near college.

Two teens were apprehended after fleeing from an officer who witnessed an alleged drug exchange near Washington and Church streets earlier this month, Hackettstown Police said.
Christof Sanchez, 19, of Bergenfield, and John Alfano, 19, of Brick, were charged with disorderly conduct on Dec. 15.
According to Sgt. Darren Tynan, a Hackettstown police officer while on patrol witnessed a "hand exchange of CDS" in the area of Washington and Church streets at about 2:45 a.m.

The two individuals then fled on foot toward Centenary College, Tynan said. The teens were caught and admitted to the drug exchange, but no CDS was found, according to Tynan.
The Independence Township and Washington Township (Morris County) assisted at the scene.

The teens were released pending a court appearance.
