2 Events Set To Help Haddonfield Flood Victims In August

Two events to benefit Haddonfield flood victims will take place in August.

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Downtown Haddonfield will host an event to help victims of flooding that occurred in the borough earlier this summer. It is one of two events that will help victims of the June 20 flood set for August.

Downtown Haddonfield will host “Flood of Support: For Victims of the Haddonfield Flood” fundraising shopping and dining event on Thursday, Aug. 15, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Proceeds will benefit victims of the June 20 flood.

Over a dozen retailers from Downtown Haddonfield will partner with the Partnership for Haddonfield to host this event. A percentage of each sale made during the event will be donated to various GoFundMe pages that have been set up to raise needed funds for flood victims.

“The residents of Haddonfield contribute to the success of the Downtown, and this fundraising event is our way of showing them that we support them as well,” Maison Marcellé Boutique Owner Andrea Marcellé said.

It is one of two events taking place in August to raise money for flood victims. Red and black wristbands that sayHaddonfield Strong will be available during the Haddonfield Farmers Market on Saturday, Aug. 10 (rain date is Aug. 17) for a $3 donation.

Inkwood Books and Passariello’s Pizzeria and Italian Kitchen in Downtown Haddonfield will also have the wristbands available from Saturday, Aug. 10 through Friday, Aug. 16.
