John M. Tedeschi, M.D. to Receive Lifetime Achievement Recognition at Philadelphia Business Journal’s Healthcare Innovation Awards Program

John M. Tedeschi, M.D., Chairman and CEO of Continuum Health Alliance, LLC, and Advocare, LLC will receive a lifetime achievement award at the upcoming Philadelphia Business Journal Healthcare Innovation Awards breakfast on Tuesday, November 8^th, at the Philadelphia Downtown Marriott Hotel. The Healthcare Innovation Awards honor recipients from the Philadelphia region in several categories including, CEO of the Year, Medical Education Innovator, Emerging Executive, Public Health Executive, Patent Safety, New Media and Lifetime Achievement.

Throughout his career, Dr. Tedeschi has been at the forefront of medical management, working to ensure a higher standard of care.  As America enters a new era of health care reform, Dr. Tedeschi continues to provide a visionary approach to medical management and service delivery.  In October 2010, Tedeschi was appointed to the Cooper Health System Board of Trustees, and hopes to remain instrumental in developing the curriculum for the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University - set to open in 2012.  

Dr. Tedeschi’s exemplary career, over four decades in pediatric medicine, was recognized in 2009 with the launch of The John M. Tedeschi Pediatric Institute at Virtua, a programmatic and philanthropic initiative designed to improve children’s health at the local, state, and national levels. Dr. Tedeschi also served on the Virtua Health Board of Trustees for many years.

Nationally recognized for his work in the field of medicine, Dr. Tedeschi has been recognized by “top” lists and publications including Best Doctors in America, the 2008 Guide to America’s Top Pediatricians, and multiple listings in the National Register’s Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals to "Top Doc" profiles in regional and local magazines such as New Jersey Monthly, SJ Magazine and South Jersey magazine.
