Silver Diner

As the dog days of summer wind down, Silver Diner is gearing up for one last summer celebration! The “Unofficial End of Summer” Labor Day Car Show will take place Monday, September 7, from 8 a.m. to noon at Silver Diner, 2131 Route 38 in Cherry Hill. Come check out an amazing collection of cars and enjoy a delicious breakfast at the diner. This is a rain or shine event. 
The show is open to all cars, of any make, model and year. Registration is from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. with a $20 cash only car entry fee, there is no pre-registration available. The show is free for attendees. Over 80 trophies will be awarded at noon. Please be advised that tents, motorcycles, burnouts, sound systems or alcohol are not permitted.

<a href="https://www.samaritannj.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Samaritan</a> will host Healing Hearts – A Space for Grieving Children and Families on Saturday, September 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This free, in-person support group is designed for children and teens ages 4-17 and their parent(s) or guardian(s) who are coping with the loss of a loved one. 
Led by Samaritan’s professional bereavement specialists, Healing Hearts provides a safe, supportive environment where families can process their grief together. The half-day session includes breakfast, lunch and snacks, movies, activities and memorialization for each family.

First Methodist Church of Moorestown invites the entire community to its Third Annual Apple Festival on Friday, September 18, from 4:30–7:30 p.m. The festival will be held rain or shine at 446 E. Camden Avenue in Moorestown.
Bring your family and friends for an evening filled with fall fun, food, entertainment and opportunities to make lasting memories together.
Festival attractions include:

To help support the GFWC (General Federation of Women’s Clubs) Day of Service focusing on domestic and sexual violence, The Haddon Fortnightly Evening Membership Department will be collecting donations of feminine personal care items.Contributions may include items such as new full-size shampoos, conditioners, deodorants, face creams, hand creams, toothbrushes and toothpaste.These donations will be given to the Anna Sample House Complex in Camden.Each client is provided with emergency housing and individualized support including financial planning, access to healthcare services, andto workshops on employment, educational resources, life and parenting skills.
Items will be collected at The Haddon Fortnightly Building, 301 Kings Highway East, Haddonfield, on Saturday, September 19th
from 10 AM to 2 PM.
