Candidate Interview For Vacant Haddonfield Board Seat Tuesday
The Board of Commissioners will hold a closed session interview during its workshop session Tuesday night, 6:30 p.m.
HADDONFIELD, NJ — The Haddonfield Board of Commissioners will begin the workshop portion of their meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, for a closed session interview with a candidate for the open seat on the board, borough officials announced. The regular action meeting will follow at 7:30 p.m.
Interviews were also set to continue Monday night with candidates for the Haddonfield Commissioner's Seat vacated by John Mascatelli. Closed session interviews were also held on June 13, 14 and 15.
No date was given in which the seat will be filled. Moscatelli announced that he would resign last month because he is moving out of the area. He will formally resign once a replacement is appointed.

That person will serve until a special election is held to fill the remainder of the unexpired term. That special election will take the same day New Jersey will hold general elections, on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Petitions to run in the special election are now available through the clerk's office and must be completed and returned by Tuesday, Sept. 3. All candidates with valid petitions will be placed on the ballot for the special election. For more information, contact smccullough@haddonfield-nj.gov.
