HADDONFIELD, NJ — The outbreak of coronavirus in China has reportedly impacted train stations in South Jersey.

A shipment of about 30,000 PATCO Freedom Cards has been delayed because the Chinese company that makes it abruptly shut down due to the outbreak, the Courier Post reports. The company made an emergency purchase for about 10,000 cards, which about 70 percent of PATCO riders use, according to the report.

Freedom cards have stored values on them, similar to E-ZPass, according to PATCO’s website. They are available for $5 to customers.
