Detour For Road Work In Haddon Township Begins Tuesday

The detour will be in place for the rest of the week.

HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ - There will be a detour on Hopkins Avenue in Haddon Township for road work this week, Camden County officials announced Monday night. PSE&G will conduct the work.

Hopkins Avenue in Haddon Township will be detoured from East Pine Street to Crystal Lake Avenue Tuesday through Friday for the removal and restoration of the concrete roadway, officials said.

“Please allow yourself extra time to reach your destination if your route includes Hopkins Avenue in Haddon Township,” Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, said. “It is important that motorists know that this detour will be in place and plan accordingly.”

Camden County is aggressive about repairing all county maintained roads. The Freeholder Board asks residents to report road hazards they encounter to the Camden County Public Works Hotline 856-566-2980. The number is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
