Bowling for the Battleship

First Thursday Jazz

Big River Opening Night

Friday, February 2 | 8 PM
Haddonfield Plays & Players, Haddonfield

Huckleberry Finn continues his reckless, adventure-loving ways and takes off on a raft down the Mississippi River. Along the way he meets up with a runaway slave, Jim, who is trying to find his wife and children up North. After a series of adventures and reuniting with his best friend, Tom Sawyer, Huck discovers that Jim’s owner died and freed him in her will, allowing Jim to find his wife and children on his own, in addition Huck decides to move out West where no one can civilize him. This show runs through February 17.

The Miracle Worker
February 2 & 3 | 7:30 PM
Dennis Flyer Theatre, Blackwood

Journey from darkness to light with Helen Keller and her remarkable teacher, Annie Sullivan, in Mainstage Center for the Arts’ production of The Miracle Worker. This inspirational tale of perseverance reveals how Sullivan opened the world to Keller, who became blind and deaf from an illness as a toddler.

Bird Walk

Scotland Run Park, Clayton

Join Scotland Run Park for their monthly Morning Bird Walk! There are about 90 different species of birds that have been spotted in the various habitats in the park including eagles, ospreys, Baltimore orioles, and blue birds. This program is fun for the whole family.
