Free Festival Helps Haddon Officially Welcome Summer
The township's Summer Solstice Music Festival begins Friday at 4 p.m.
HADDON, NJ — Haddon will officially welcome the new season with a Summer Solstice Festival on Friday.
The event takes place on Haddon Avenue between Strawbridge Avenue and Cooper Street runs from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., according to the township's website.
The event is "a wonderful opportunity to spend time with friends celebrating the beginning of
summer by listening to some great live bands," Haddon Mayor Randall W. Teague told Patch.

Five bands are scheduled to take the music stage at some point during the evening — not all at the same time, of course.
Admission to the music part of the festival is free. Attendees will have to pay for any food or beverages they buy at the festival, Teague said.
