Haddonfield Contest May Prove Every Dog Has Its Day
Or maybe, in this instance, every dog has its month might be more appropriate.
HADDONFIELD, NJ — Think your Fido, Bella, Oliver, Max, Charlie — or whatever you named your canine companion — is the most photogenic there is?
Then the Haddonfield Crew Club has a contest for you.
All dogs —or "dawgs," as the club calls them —with a high-quality entry photo that is uploaded to this website will be included in the club's 2023 calendar, the website said.

The 12 dogs with the most votes will be featured as a dog of the month and receive a photo sitting courtesy of Debbie Troy Photography, according to the website.

The dog with the most votes gets a gift certificate to Haddonfield's Ahead of the Pack, its owner gets a charcuterie board courtesy of Severino's "and other local prizes," according to the website.
Each vote costs a dollar and while there is a minimum of 10 votes required, "there is no vote limit" the website said.
All dogs must have their photos uploaded to the contest's website by 9 p.m. on Thursday, which is also the day and time that voting ends, according to the website.
The club will use the funds to enhance its fleet and equipment as well as "help establish a scholarship fund to help make Crew more accessible to all interested students," the website said.
