Haddonfield Football Team Eyes Championship Repeat
The Bulldawgs boast a pair of brothers who are part of football royalty, according to the Courier Post.

HADDONFIELD, NJ — The Haddonfield Memorial High School football team captured the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 title with a 21-17 win over West Deptford at Rowan University last season. The Bulldawgs were down in the second quarter of that game when Jay Foley delivered a 54-yard touchdown pass to his fraternal twin brother John Foley. The brothers are back this year, and they are looking for more glory.
Jay and John Foley have established themselves as individuals in a family of football royalty, the Courier Post reports. Their older cousin is a freshman playing football at Temple University, where his dad is an assistant coach. Jay and Johnny’s dad played six years in the NFL, starred at Boston College and is in the Camden County Sports Hall of Fame.
If home is where the heart is, the Foley brothers and the rest of the Bulldawgs are hoping to bring their family home this season. Haddonfield played all its games on the road due to construction at their home stadium last season, and already knows its first scheduled home game for the 2018 season against Sterling will be on the road while construction at the school and on the stadium continues.
