Inaugral Tribute To Veterans In Haddonfield Needs Help, Leader Says

The idea for the tribute came from Haddonfield student Kelsie Meeker, a commissioner said in an interview.

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Help is needed now to make an inaugural tribute to veterans taking place this November a success, a borough commissioner said.

The tribute? Hang as many banners as possible with images of honorably-discharged veterans and active veterans from lampposts along Kings Highway in November, said Haddonfield Borough Commissioner Frank Troy.

"We are asking that the banners be ordered by Sept. 15, so they may be in place along Kings Highway during the month of November," he said in an interview.
