New Haddon Township Target To Hire 150 Employees

Job fairs will be held on June 7, 8 and 15.

HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — Looking for a job? Haddon Township’s new “small format” Target store will be hiring about 150 people this month, the store announced on Monday. Job fairs will take place on June 7, 8 and 15 in the Scottish Rite Auditorium at 315 White Horse Pike in Collingswood. The store’s grand opening celebration is set for Aug. 19.

The store at 650 West Cuthbert Boulevard will be about 48,000 square feet, and will be the first small format Target in South Jersey. It will be among the first six opened in the Philadelphia area, and will open at the same time as the Northern Liberties store.

The smaller stores are designed to offer a "quick-trip shopping experience." They cater more directly to the needs of the locals. This store will offer a curated assortment of men’s and women’s apparel and accessories, baby essentials, toys, basics for the family, home décor, health and beauty products, electronics, tech accessories, and a food and beverage selection that includes fresh produce and grab-and-go items, according to the retail chain.
