Retirement Community Helping Retirees Cope With Moving

"How to sell your house and move in 30 days without having a breakdown!" will take place on Wednesday, April 25.

A retirement community in South Jersey is offering help for retirees looking to sell their home without having a nervous breakdown. The seminar, which is actually called “How to sell your house and move in 30 days without having a breakdown!” will take place at Lions Gate Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) 1110 Laurel Oak Rd, Voorhees, NJ on Wednesday, April 25, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Presenters include:
  • The Moving Station, a senior relocation management company that has shared savvy pricing tactics, professional staging techniques, and successful deal negotiation strategies since 1995. The goal is to allow sellers to hand over the keys to the next lucky owner in 30 days or less;
  • Byron Homes, who has helped seniors easily purge, pack, ship, unpack, and set up any new home, whether the move takes them around the corner or around the world; and
  • Lions Gate Continuing Care Retirement Community who can show sellers how to add seven more years to their lives by choosing retirement resort-style living that’s the right fit for them.

Attendees will also learn about protecting their assets from the rising cost of long-term care, tax advantages and untapped veteran’s benefits that could entirely cover monthly fees.

Affiliated with the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey, Lions Gate CCRC is a not for profit, full-service continuing care retirement community of 400 residents, with senior living options ranging from Independent Living to a full continuum of on-site care such as Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care, Short-Term and Outpatient Rehabilitation, Memory Care and Home Care.
