Road Closures, Route Info For Haddonfield Snowflake 5K Run

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Costumed joggers and their running-clothed fellows will pound the pavement around Crows Woods in Haddonfield for the annual Snowflake Run on Saturday.
The Haddon Fortnightly is holding this event, which raises money for youth mental health organizations. Proceeds benefit The Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide, Inc., Jackson’s Wish, and other charities.
On Saturday morning, Dec. 3, the streets surrounding Crows Woods will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The race begins at 9 a.m. sharp.

Check-in, packet pick-up, and race-day registration (no cash) are from 7-8:30 a.m. A costume contest is at 8:15 a.m., and pre-race stretching with Mosaic Health is at 8:30.
After the race, Mosaic will again be leading a stretching session.

The Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide, Inc. "is dedicated to increasing awareness, saving lives and reducing the stigma of suicide through specialized training programs and mental health resources that empower teens, parents, school staff and community members with the skills needed to help youth build a life of resiliency."
Jackson’s Wish "is an organization based in Haddon Heights, NJ that encourages teenagers to talk to one another about mental health. They wish to promote mental health and suicide awareness and to fund education and treatment programs for adolescents and teens in the Delaware Valley Region."
