Teen Arrested In Slaying Of Woman, 46, In South Jersey: Police
Michelle Huelas, of Burlington, was fatally shot in Camden last month. A 17-year-old was arrested in her murder this week.

A Camden teenager has been charged in connection with the death of a Burlington Township woman who was killed in Camden last month, authorities announced on Thursday.
The 17-year-old, who was not identified due to his age, has been charged with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of 46-year-old Michelle Huelas that took place on Aug. 11, according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson.
Huelas was transported by EMS to Cooper University Hospital after her husband flagged down Camden County Police near Broadway and Kaighns Avenue in Camden just before 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11.

She was pronounced dead at the hospital at about 4:20 p.m. that day. During the investigation, detectives were able to determine that the shooting occurred on the 700 block of Anna Sample Lane, and that the teenager had allegedly been in the area at the time of the shooting.
Her obituary lists her as a resident of Buena Vista Township in Atlantic County. She is survived by three children and two grandchildren.

The teen was charged on Sept. 18. He was processed on Sept. 19 and is being held at the Camden County Juvenile Detention Center.
