Why Wait Until Black Friday -- ‘Ultimate Shopping Spree’ Is On Thursday In Camden County

The semi-annual event provides ways to spruce up wardrobes, palates and gift-giving talents, organizers said.

HADDONFIELD, NJ – One of New Jersey’s oldest towns shows off its shopping side during its semi-annual ‘Girls Day Out on Thursday.

Many of the boutiques, gift shops and restaurants along Kings Highway, Mechanic Street, Ellis Street, Tanner Street, Haddy Lane, Kings Court, and Haddon Avenue will extend their hours into the early evening that day to offer the “ultimate shopping spree,” Downtown Haddonfield, a business development organization, said in a press release.

“Over the years, shops have taken advantage of the day to host special events,” Michael Marciante, Executive Director for the Partnership for Haddonfield, told Patch.
