The borough is still waiting on the county to come in to repave the Boulevard, a project that officials have said is overdue.

Kenneth Job, borough engineer, told the governing body Tuesday that the county has put together its road repaving list, which includes the borough of Hasbrouck Heights, however it has still not been determine whether the work will begin in 2012 or 2013.

Job has previously reported that the county’s repaving project was slowed down by the American Disabilities Act zero tolerance policy for barrier-free curb ramps which makes the project more costly and time consuming.  Once the county comes in to resurface the Boulevard the new ADA compliant ramps will be put in as well, Job said.

The borough is also working to continue its own road resurfacing program of local roadways.
