Ex-Lodi Corrections Officer Got Child Porn Over Email: Officials
Stephen Salamak, 38, had images of prepubescent children, officials said.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A former corrections officer from Lodi admitted getting images of child pornography over email, authorities announced.
Stephen Salamak, 38, of Lodi, pleaded guilty in Newark federal court to receipt of child pornography, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced.
Salamak used email to find and download images of child pornography, including images of prepubescent children, Carpenito announced.
Salamak had previously been indicted on the receipt of child pornography. Salamak faces a maximum of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine when he is sentenced.
Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 15.
