Face To Face With Wrestler Andrew Hodulik
Captain of the varsity wrestling team will attend the University of Connecticut

Meet Andrew Hodulik. There isn’t a superlative on Earth that hasn’t been used (or over used) in describing this senior Aviator.
“Andrew’s a great guy, an honor student, and one of the hardest working athletes I know," remarked Nick Delcalzo, Hasbrouck Heights vice-principal.
“Andrew leads by example, and he always encourages the younger guys on the team,” added Aviator’s wrestling assistant coach, Luke Jackson.

It comes as no surprise, then, that Hodulik’s ability both on and off the mat has merited him many accomplishments.
Last year, Hodulik, 'the Captain,’ came in second during the district competitions, and his relentless tenacity and determination serves to motivate his teammates, despite the obvious margin that separates his abilities from most others.
In reflecting upon himself, Hodulik is modest.

“I just try and do the best I can, and try to help the rest of the team. Being the captain is a responsibility that I don’t mind, and I enjoy helping people,” stated Hodulik.
Hodulik will attend the University of Connecticut. He has also decided to enroll in the rigorous nursing program, where his inherent nature for helping others can be realized. He added that he would like to be a social worker.
Hodulik credits his family for instilling in him the core values that have made him who he is.
Pointing to his mother, he revealed that his parents have always encouraged him and his three younger brothers (wrestlers as well) ever since he started wrestling as a two-year-old.
When asked if he will wrestle in college, Hodulik answered with a smile, "Nah, that would be too much to do. Besides I also need time to play golf."
