The Hasbrouck Heights boys and girls team came home with first place finishes at the Bergen County Relays last weekend and also finished the dual meet season undefeated.
And on Tuesday, both the boys and girls defeated both North Arlington and Secaucus squads at .
The Heights girls team finished with an 8-0 record while the boys finished 7-0 with the North Jersey Interscholastic Conference meet coming on May 8 in Palisades Park. The NJIC meet is worth 2/3 in terms of points in the battle for the NJIC title while the dual meet season was worth 1/3.

At the county relays at River Dell High School, the Hasbrouck Heights girls team dominated Group D with 142 points, 50 more than second place Waldwick, 92.
The Heights boys team almost matched the girls total and came home with 136 points, 28 more than second-place finisher, Emerson with 108.

Both the boys and girls collected 10 first place finishes each and made it the fourth straight year of county group titles.
Hasbrouck Heights head coach Robert Brady said that the team is ahead of schedule and has outperformed considering that several graduated last year.
"We're happy with the performance with all of the kids especially since we lost so many seniors from last year's teams," said Brady.
On the girls side it was the distance relays that put them over the top. In terms of the distance events, the Lady Aviators took home first in the 4-by-1600 relay, distance, 1,600 sprint medley and the 3,200 meter relay.
On the field events Heights grabbed gold in the javelin and shot put relays.
On the boys side the Aviators dominated the jumps and the throws with six first place finishes in the end. Heights took first in the javelin, shot and discus while they also came in first in the triple jump, long jump and high jump.
Golf
The Hasbrouck Heights golf squad was 4-4 overall and 4-2 in the NJIC Division 1 league play after defeating Hawthorne, 207-208, and North Arlington, 20-7-267.
One of the top players is senior Matt Pedersen and had a 40 against North Arlington and Hawthorne.
For Aviators head coach Matt Sicilian the team is a right on target and getting better. "Our varsity golfers are starting to get into the sub 210 range, which was one of our mid-to-late season goals," said Sicilian.
For this season Heights is playing where the four best scores are counted rather than in the past when it was direct head to head. "They have to make better decisions," said Sicilian about the new format. "You are playing against the course rather than playing your opponent."
After Pedersen the top golfer is senior Nicole Callen and shooting in the lower 50s.
Outside of those two seniors the Aviators are young and growing.
Two of the top underclassmen are sophomore Michael Christensen and freshman Frank Dubicki. Both have shot in the low 50s with Christensen putting together one under 50 score.
Three juniors, Alex Hodulik, Tom Nicoletti and John Cutruzulla are also contributing.
Softball
Hasbrouck Heights raised its record to over .500, 6-5, after defeating Queen of Peace, 12-2, on Wednesday in Lyndhurst.
The Aviators scored all their runs in the first three innings.
It was a balanced offensive attack with five Heights batters registering two RBI each in Diana Torres, Daniella Castellanos, Natalie Garcia, Carolyn Clites and Julie Sheridan, who smacked a home run. Sheridan threw a one-hitter in the circle.
Baseball
The Aviators squad travelled to Lyndhurst and faced Queen of Peace under the lights on Wednesday and came home with a 12-1 victory in a NJIC Meadowlands crossover victory.
Junior pitcher Joe Crabbe did it with his arm and bat. On the mound he scattered five hits while hitting a double and collecting three RBI. Catcher Gabe Toledo and second Ray Klenk added three and two RBI respectively.
The win raised Heights record to 5-6 on the season.
