The annual Little League Opening Day Parade was held on a perfect Spring morning Saturday. Little League President Steve Palladino thanked all the parents and coaches for their dedication to the sport, adding "being involved in Little League is a good thing, it keeps parents off the streets." Palladino announced that he will retire after this year and in honor, he was surprised to be asked to throw out the customary first pitch.
