VIDEO: Senator Bob Gordon Offers Tribute to 'Role Model'

State Senator Bob Gordon (D-38), who served as Fair Lawn's mayor from 1988-91, paid tribute to recently deceased former Fair Lawn Mayor Florence "Flossie" Dobrow at the borough' council meeting on Tuesday.

At what was the first council meeting since Dobrow's funeral, Gordon called the borough's first female mayor a "force for positive change in our community." Dobrow , the longest tenure in Fair Lawn history.

"For me, Flossie was my mentor, and will always be my role model of what a public servant should be," Gordon said.
