Video: Wagner Campaigns at Rotary Meeting
Assemblywoman Connie Wagner (D-38) visited with district Rotary Club yesterday.
Election day is still a few months off, but campaign season has just begun with Assemblywoman Connie Wagner (D-38) having swung through Oradell early Wednesday morning to meet with the Oradell-Emerson Rotary Club.
Wagner, a former educator and councilwoman in Paramus, spoke about several bills that she has sponsored this past year and what she still hopes to accomplish if reelected this November.
Among her sponsored bills based on Education include: allowing advertising on the exterior of school buses, giving parents the option to waive their child’s right to be buses to school, clarifying that school districts are not required to pay out of their own budget for special education evaluations for private school students in their district, and placing a 4% cap on increases to college tuition.
