• 25th Annual Highlands Oktoberfest (njmonthly.com) — Mark your calendar for the 25th Annual Highlands Oktoberfest at Veterans Park on Saturday, October 3, with free admission and parking. Locals can enjoy German food from Bahrs Landing, a wide selection of Oktoberfest beers, contests, 50/50 drawings, and plenty of family-friendly vendors. It’s a full afternoon of fall fun right in Highlands.

• 9th Annual Brew by the Bay (njmonthly.com) — Highlands residents can sip local craft beers bayside at Seafarer Bar during the 9th Annual Brew by the Bay on Saturday, September 12, from noon to 5 p.m. Your $45 ticket includes multiple tastings, a full pint, live music, waterfront views, and food for purchase from Fresh by the Bay. The rain-or-shine event is presented by the Highlands Business Partnership.
