11 DWI Arrests, Some With Crashes, Reported In Hillsborough
Two of the crashes reported involved hitting a tree in the township, police reported.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Police continue to crack down on drivers driving drunk or impaired. For the month of October, 11 DWI arrests were made.
Hillsborough Police Blotter:
On Oct. 7: A 45-year-old Edison man was stopped on Andria Ave and arrested and charged with DWI. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Oct. 9: A 34-year-old Hillsborough man was stopped on Route 206 and arrested and charged with DWI. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Oct. 10: A 40-year-old Hillsborough man was stopped on Falcon Road and arrested and charged with DWI. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Courtdate.

On Oct. 11: Several unlocked vehicles in the township were entered and items were taken. Several vehicles were stolen that had key fobs left in them. This took place overnight. Read More: Car Theft, Burglary Spree Hits Hillsborough
On Oct. 13: A 30-year-old Somerset man was stopped on Route 206 and arrested and charged with obstruction. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Oct. 14: A 52-year-old Bridgewater man was stopped on Route 206 and arrested and charged with DWI. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Oct. 15: Suresh Bharatha, 44, of Skillman was involved in a motor vehicle crash on South
Branch Road and arrested and charged with DWI. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Oct. 20: A 53-year-old man was stopped on Estate Road and arrested and charged with DWI. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Oct. 23: A 32-year-old Plainfield man was stopped on Route 206 and arrested and charged with DWI. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Oct. 27: A 52-year-old Hillsborough man was stopped on Brooks Boulevard and arrested and charged with DWI and resisting arrest. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Oct. 28: Nikhil Reddy, 21, of Hillsborough was involved in a single-car crash versus a tree on Rouser Way. He was arrested and charged with DWI and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date. Read More: Car Split In Half, Mangled After Crashing Into Hillsborough Tree
On Oct. 30: Carlos Diaz, 30, of Hillsborough was involved in a single-car crash versus a tree on Farm Road. He was arrested and charged with DWI and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On Oct. 31: Lucas Witherspoon, 34, of Warm Springs, Georgia was involved in a minor 2-car motor vehicle crash where he was arrested and charged with DWI. He was released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
