Hatch Alert: 1st Bald Eagle Egg Of 2025 Hatches At Duke Farms In Hillsborough
The first of three bald eagle eggs laid in 2025 at Duke Farms hatched on Tuesday morning.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The first of three bald eagle eggs laid in 2025 has hatched at Duke Farms in Hillsborough.
"The eagle has landed! The first chick at the Duke Farms Bald Eagle Nest has hatched!" said Duke Farms.
"At 6:32 am the female stood rolled the egg and the chick slipped out of the shell," according to Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ.

The first bald eagle egg of 2025 was confirmed on Jan. 18, and the a total of three eggs were reported on Feb. 8 once the Duke Farms Eagle Cam was back online.
The other two eggs are expected to hatch within the next few days.

The eggs and the bald eagle parents can be seen on Duke Farms' Eagle cam, which livestreams the nest 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
