3 Bald Eagle Eggs, Duke Farms Live Camera Back Online In Hillsborough

Bald Eagle Hatch Watch is already underway as hatching could begin around Feb. 22 or even earlier.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Surprise times three! Duke Farms announced Friday that itsEagle Cam is finally back online. Additionally, viewers were surprised to see that three eggs have been laid for 2025.

"Our Eagle Cam is back online. We're so grateful to our team for all of their hardworking in restoring this," wrote Duke Farms.

The camera — which live streams the Bald Eagle nest 24 hours a day, seven days a week — had been down since early December following a car crash.

As a result, Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ said that unlike in past seasons, they don't know the exact date that the first egg was laid.

"The nest monitor reported seeing incubation on Jan. 18. We can expect hatching to begin around Feb. 22nd, but it could be earlier since the exact date of incubation is unknown," said the foundation.

Locals are invited to tune into its Duke Farms' Eagle cam — which livestreams the nest 24 hours a day, seven days a week — as there is a possibility for more eggs.
