2 Dead Following 3-Car Crash In Somerset County
The crash happened at the intersection of N Main Street and Dukes Parkway E near the McDonald's in Manville on Friday.
MANVILLE, NJ — Two drivers have died following a three-car crash in Manville on Friday, Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives Frank Roman Jr. told Patch on Sunday.
The identities of the two drivers were not released on Sunday. More information on the ongoing investigation is expected to be released on Monday.
The crash was reported on Aug. 25 at 1:27 p.m. where a Mercedes, Honda Pilot and a Chevy Traverse collided at the intersection of N Main Street and Dukes Parkway E near the McDonald's in Manville, said Manville Police Lt. John Crater.

Manville Fire Department along with Finderne Fire Department came to help extricate the drivers trapped in their vehicles. The three drivers were the only people inside their vehicles at the time of the crash, Crater said.
All three of the drivers were severely injured. One driver was airlifted by a North Star helicopter to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital(RWJUH) New Brunswick. The other two were taken to RWJUH Somerset.

The Somerset County County Accident Response Team(CART) is investigating the crash.
N Main Street and Finderne Avenue coming from Bridgewater into Manville was closed for about 4 hours as a result.
