$466K Awarded For Amsterdam Drive Phase 3 Resurfacing Project
This is the third and final phase of the resurfacing project in Hillsborough.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A contract for roughly $466,000 was awarded to complete the third and final phase of the Amsterdam Drive Resurfacing project.
The Hillsborough Township Committee approved a resolution on Tuesday night to award the contract for $466,523.62 to Stilo Paving & Excavating in South Plainfield out of six received bids.
The amount will be covered through a combination of a grant from the New Jersey Department of Transportation and Township funds.

NJDOT awarded a Local Aid grant to the township for $368,400 for the repaving of Amsterdam Drive in February 2023. Read More: $368K Awarded To Complete Amsterdam Drive In Hillsborough
"The township received grants for all three phases so full repaving will be at a minimal cost to the township," said Hillsborough Committeeman John Ciccarelli at the Feb. 14, 2023 meeting.

The remainder of $98,123.62 will be covered by the Township for this project.
The third phase of the Amsterdam Drive Resurfacing project includes the roadway between Murphy Drive and Amwell Road.
