6 Candidates To Run For Hillsborough Township Board of Education
It will be a contested race in November with 6 candidates vying for three seats on the Hillsborough Township Board of Education.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Monday was the deadline to file for the upcoming general school board election in November. Six candidates have announced their intention to run for three open Hillsborough Township Board of Education seats.
Candidates include:
- Vernon Aberanton Spencer
- Cassandra Kragh
- Cynthia “Cindy” DeCavalcante Nurse
- Paul Marini
- Pritpal S. Phanda
- Jennifer Esposito
Nurse and Marini are both incumbents on the Board.

New Jersey's general election will be held on Nov. 7. The three winning candidates will serve a 3-year term on the Board of Education.
