Hillsborough Central Jersey Wrestlers Close Out Season

The Hillsborough Central Jersey wrestlers close out their season at the Central Jersey wrestling Tournament in Kenilworth.

The Hillsborough Central Jersey wrestlers closed out their season in style at the Central Jersey wrestling Tournament in Kenilworth. 

Cole Psmenecki (57 pounds) and Emilio Guerrero (HWT) brought home much deserved 2nd place medals. Veteran Captains Ray O'Callahan (83 pounds)  and Brian Musumeci (95 pounds) closed out their Central Jersey careers with 4th place medals, while Captain Zachary Volpe closed out with a win,taking home a 5th place medal in the 73 pound weight class. Evan Karolewski (50 pounds), Dan Chesner (87 pounds) and Jack Boylan (110 pounds) all stood on the medal stand collecting 6th place medals. Chris Spinelli, Austin Quandt, Andrew Johnson, Ryan Oram, Vinnie Aboosamara, Kevin Quabeck, Cameron Hill and Charlie Cohen all gave 100 percent effort in the tournament. In total, 23 teams participated in the wrestling tournament. 

This year eight  wrestlers will graduate from the Central Jersey team and hopefully continue their wrestling career in the middle school next year under the guidance of Coach Jozef Kepic.
