Hillsborough Jr Wrestling Raritan Valley team ends season

The Hillsborough Jr Wrestling Raritan Valley team ended their season, but the young group has a lot to look forward to next year.

The Hillsborough Jr Wrestling Raritan Valley team ended their season 4-5. A young group that is graduating only 4 of the 17 weight classes the team has a lot to look forward to next year.

The team had strong performances at the end of season league tournament, highlighted by 2nd place finishes for Mike Lalor and Varun Deb, and 4th place finishes for Matt Ciattarelli and Conor Nehila. Deb, Lalor and Nick Klementowicz paced the team with 9, 8 and 8 regular season wins. Ciattarelli and Klementowicz led the team in pins with 4 and 3 respectively.

The team also had strong seasons from 6th graders Joe Daniel and Brian Bessasparis, as well as returning wrestlers Kevin Klein, Daniel Guerrero, Donoven Nicolas, Peter Quandt, Joe Witcoski, Tyler Oram, Jason Roser and JB McCrea.
