Bridge Over 6-Mile Run To Close For 2 Days
Canal Road will be closed between Blackwells Mills Road and Jacques Lane and will remain closed 24/7 until repairs are completed.

FRANKLIN, NJ — Emergency repairs of the bridge over Six Mile Run in Franklin Township begin Wednesday and will continue through Thursday.
As a result of repairs, Canal Road will be closed between Blackwells Mills Road and Jacques Lane and will remain closed 24/7 until repairs are completed.
Repairs are expected to take two days and the road is expected to re-open on Thursday in the late afternoon or evening.

Traffic will be detoured using Jacques Lane, South Middlebush Road, and Blackwells Mills Road.
Motorists should seek alternate routes and avoid the area if possible. Expect increased traffic and delays on surrounding roadways. Allow for extra commuting time, Franklin Police reported.
