Delayed Opening For Hillsborough Schools Tuesday Following Blizzard
A blizzard blanketed Hillsborough with more than a foot of snow from Sunday to Monday.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — All Hillsborough Township Public Schools have a two-hour delayed opening on Tuesday, due to potentially hazardous early morning conditions.
Somerset County Vocational and Technical School will have a delayed opening on Tuesday as well, with classes beginning at 10 a.m.
Additionally, Raritan Valley Community College will be closed on Tuesday.

Monday Night: Areas of blowing snow between 8 and 9 p.m. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 18. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 29. West wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Tuesday Night: Snow likely after 1 a.m. Increasing clouds, with a low around 16. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Wednesday: A chance of snow before 10 a.m., then a chance of rain between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 44. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 28.
