Dog Days Daycare Center Looks To Expand In Hillsborough
The applicant is looking to build a training facility, a therapy pool building, and parking spaces.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — An application to expand a doggy daycare facility will go before the Hillsborough Board of Adjustment on Wednesday night.
Dog Days Daycare Center at 281-285 Roycefield Road in Hillsborough is seeking variances to build a proposed pool house building that is 3,078 square feet along with a proposed training center/apartment that is 5,616 square feet. It will include an area underneath the porch for the outdoor dog runs.
The apartment will serve as the overnight training center for dogs and also be used to train "house manners" such as teaching dogs not to jump on kitchen counters, stay off furniture, etc.

The pool house will include a therapy pool and splash pool amenities.
There are also three parking stalls for dog training services proposed.

Dog Days Daycare Center has been open since July 2005 as a dog daycare, overnight boarding, and grooming business. The facility previously received use and bulk variances prior to opening.

The Board of Adjustment meeting will be held in person on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the township municipal courtroom.
