Great Road Bridge Reopens After 2 Months Of Repair
Great Road (County Route 601) in Montgomery had been closed for two months for bridge repairs.
MONTGOMERY, NJ — The bridge on Great Road in Montgomery has been reopened and construction has been completed.
Great Road (County Route 601) had been closed for two months for bridge repairs. The road was closed from south of Georgetown Franklin Turnpike (County Route 518) and north of Cherry Valley Road.
The project included strengthening and repairing the bridge's structural steel repairs and repairing the concrete abutment. Scour countermeasures were also installed and the deteriorated approach guide rail posts was replaced.
