Possible Armed Man Found In Hillsborough: Police
A man who prompted a search by a police helicopter and authorities on Thursday morning has been found and is in police custody.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A man who prompted a search by a police helicopter and authorities has been found and is in police custody, Hillsborough Police said just after 9 a.m. on Thursday.
"There is no threat to the public," police said.
Hillsborough Police began the search in the area of Route 206 and Raider Boulevard just before 7:30 a.m. of a possibly armed man.

"It is unknown if he is armed," Hillsborough Police said in an alert to residents.
Residents in the area were being told to remain inside their homes and to contact police if they saw anything suspicious. To contact Hillsborough Police call 908-369-4323.
