Hillsborough Hits 'Grim Milestone,' Passes 1K Coronavirus Cases
As of Monday at 4 p.m., 1,027 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Hillsborough since March.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough hit a "grim milestone" on Monday as it passed 1,000 positive coronavirus cases, said Mayor Doug Tomson.
As of Monday at 4 p.m., 1,027 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Hillsborough since March. That is a net increase of 40 new cases since Friday, said Tomson.
"We have a two week total of 214 [new] cases," Tomson said.

The township has also reported a total of 81 deaths.

Hillsborough has shared recommendations for college students returning home for the holidays. Students should complete a two-week quarantine either at home or in their dorm. All college students should get tested for COVID-19 once they come back from school.
