Hillsborough Local Jack Ciattarelli Announces Run For NJ Governor
Former State Assemblyman and Hillsborough resident Jack Ciattarelli says, "New Jersey is broken."

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Former State Assemblyman and Hillsborough resident Jack Ciattarelli has announced his run for governor of New Jersey for 2022. He will launch his campaign on Tuesday, Jan. 21 in Raritan.
"New Jersey is broken," said Ciattarelli, 58, a Republican. "Governor Phil Murphy is out-of-touch with the everyday concerns of New Jerseyans. Our state is unaffordable, our business climate is among the nation's worst, and our family and friends are fleeing in record numbers.
"Instead of addressing these concerns, Governor [Phil] Murphy is arrogantly telling residents that if they don’t like higher taxes they should get out. I’m running for Governor to make sure that Governor Murphy will be the one leaving."
