The video features actor Ronnie Marmo (Criminal Minds, General Hospital and West of Brooklyn) and was filmed by Hillsborough's 624 Productions LLC.
During a prescreening, Jon Zazula, founder of Megaforce Records (Metallica, Anthrax, Overkill, Testament), quoted the video with one word, "Powerful!"

"The song is about someone who is terminally ill and on the outside they are showing their family they are strong and putting up good front… that eveyrthing will be ok," said lead vocalist/guitarist Mike LaMastro. "But on the inside, there is pain, suffering. There is turmoil. Questioning of morality. The person is obviously struggling and ultimately the disease takes them in the end."
The song has a personal connection to LaMastro, who also coaches Hillsborough soccer, who saw someone go through this scenario.

LaMastro said there is an incredibly high rate of suicide of terminally ill patients where most patients have a fleeting desire of death within the first year of diagnosis.
"It's very personal to me. I am hoping the video shows people that there is hope for people undertaking this journey, to remain strong there are resources out there," said LaMastro.
Hillsborough resident Tom Baldinger, who owns 624 Productions, was the writer and director for the video.
"This was my first music video and I enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun. I am personally a big 80s hard rock fan. But I was never into heavy metal as much as I came to appreciate the music lyrics when they hired us," said Baldinger.
The lyrics of "Swept Away" tell a deep story. As a result, a public service announcement from the band and Marmo is included at the end urging anyone who is hurting to ask for help. If you are contemplating suicide call 800-273-8255 or text HOME to 741741.
"Swept Away" is the first single off the band's forthcoming record, "Evilution – Volume I." The single is available on Apple Music, Spotify, CD Baby and all other major online affiliates. The album is slated to be released later this summer.
