Hillsborough Schools Switch To Virtual Ahead Of Icy Weather
Due to predicted icy conditions, there will be no in-person instruction for Hillsborough students Tuesday.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The Hillsborough Township School District switched students to virtual on Tuesday due to predicted icy conditions.
The district sent out an alert early Tuesday morning announcing that no in-person instruction would occur on Tuesday. Students would instead switch to virtual.
A winter weather advisory has been issued for Somerset County Tuesday through 4 a.m. on Wednesday by the National Weather Service.

Mixed precipitation with snow accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of around one-tenth of an inch are predicted, according to the NWS.
"Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute," according to the NWS.
