Hillsborough Students Collect Feminine Products For Girls In Need
Hillsborough High School junior Anika Sinha founded the service organization Days for Girls whose primary goal is to aid women.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough High School junior Anika Sinha has always wanted to help women. Putting her passion into action, she has created the service organization Days for Girls at her school and is hosting her first fundraiser.
"I have always sort of had this innate calling toward progressing women's rights and I've always been a feminist," said Sinha. "Over quarantine, I refined what I was passionate about and what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. More so towards helping survivors of rape or sexual assault."
Sinha learned about the nonprofit organization Days For Girls whose primary goal is to aid women who lack the resources to obtain proper menstrual hygiene products. Sinha felt inspired to start a chapter at Hillsborough High School this year.
