Hillsborough Warehouse Applications To Be Heard Thursday

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Two major warehouse developments proposed in Hillsborough are slated to be heard on Thursday during the latest Hillsborough Planning Board meeting.

The application for Homestead 279 LLC is on the agenda for Thursday. However, it is expected to be adjourned to a new date determined by the Board at the May 11 meeting.

The applicant is looking to construct a 132,750-square-foot warehouse building on the lot, with internal office space, associated parking, loading spaces, lighting, stormwater, and improvements, on Property in the LI, Light Industrial Zoning District. The second application by Weston Road LLC will also be heard. The applicant is looking to construct a 135,000-square-foot warehouse building with stormwater, parking, and associated improvements. Read More: Concerns Over Stormwater Focus Of Weston Warehouse Application Hearing

The application is being opposed by the Hearthstone of Hillsborough homeowner's association, which consists of 185 families.

The planning board meeting will be held in-person at 7 p.m. at the Hillsborough Township Municipal Complex at 379 South Branch Road, Hillsborough.
