It's time to celebrate our nation's independence! Hillsborough's Independence Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 29 at Auten Road Intermediate School. Parking at ARIS is limited to permit parking and to vehicles with valid handicap stickers. Check out the listing of events and the schedule below!
Shuttle Service (4:30pm - end of event)
Free shuttles will run from the High School and the Middle School to ARIS beginning at 4:30pm. They will run continuously through the end of the event.
Games & Activities (5:00pm - 8:30pm)
Relive your childhood and play a game of kickball. Participate in a volleyball game, a summertime backyard BBQ classic. These recreational, fun, community games will be played until the sunsets! So, get up, get active, and go play!
Food Tent (5:00pm - 8:30pm)
Looking for a bite to eat? Then head over to the food tent for pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, kettle corn, snacks and drinks. This is perfect option for a family dinner in between enjoying the other activities.
Inflatable Amusements (5:00pm - 8:45pm)
The inflatable amusement rides and attractions are free. Here is a listing of some of the rides we will have:
- Sports Obstacle Course: Challenge your friends to a race on this obstacle course!
- Candy Fun Center: Explore the rock walls, bounce pit, and slide in the Candy Fun Center.
- Slam Dunk Pit: Show off your dunking skills in the slam dunk pit!
- Rock Slide: Will you be the first to ring the bell at the top of this slippery slope?
Dance along with the DJ! From old favorites like the electric slide and the YMCA, to new songs, the energy on the dance floor will be nonstop! DJ services are provided by SoundFx Entertainment.
