Homestead Warehouse Application To Continue To Be Heard Into 2023
The application is seeking to build two warehouses/office buildings on Homestead Road in Hillsborough.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Discussion on the proposed application to build 543,299 square feet of industrial and office space on Homestead Road in Hillsborough will continue into 2023.
The Hillsborough Township Planning Board heard testimony from those representing the applicant including an attorney and licensed professional planner during the Dec. 8 meeting.
The three-hour-long meeting ended after the public questioned the planner, Christine Nazzaro Cafone.

The application will be carried to Jan. 12, 2023. However, no testimony will be heard at that Planning Board meeting, it will serve solely to schedule a new hearing date.
Additionally, the planning board agreed to extend the decision deadline to Jan. 31, 2023.

The applicant Homestead Road, LLC is looking to develop Block 200.10, Lots 32 & 33 – 203 Homestead Road and 189 Homestead Road.
Homestead Road, LLC is seeking to consolidate the two lots and then subdivide them into two reconfigured lots. All existing structures on the lots would be demolished to construct two warehouse/office buildings, with associated stormwater, parking, and site improvements.
One warehouse would be 168,304 square feet warehouse with 6,000 square feet of office space and a second warehouse of 368,995 square feet.
The 88.45 tract is currently undeveloped with farmland and the Royce Brook traveling through the tract. It is located off Homestead Road and Route 206 Bypass.
