IT Director, Acting Treasurer Among 5 New Hires In Hillsborough

Hillsborough hired five people to work for the Township during the Tuesday night Committee meeting.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Township Committee voted to approve the hiring of five people to fill Township positions during the Tuesday meeting.

"We are very excited about our five new employees," said Township Administrator Anthony Ferrera.

Alicia Noon was hired as Acting Treasurer effective April 3, at an annual salary of $115,000. Noon will replace the Township's current Chief Financial Officer Nancy Costa at the end of June.

Ferrera said Noon will come on board now as part of a 3-month training period to work alongside Costa as part of the succession plan.

The hiring of Richard Granatir as Technology (IT) Director, effective April 10, at the rate of $105,000 per year.

The hiring of Jonathan Uzarski as Part Time Plumbing Inspector, effective March 29, at a rate of $33 per hour, not to exceed 116 hours per month.

The hiring of Richard Granja to the position of DPW Worker I in the Department of Public Works at an annual salary of $37,234, effective April 3, pending positive completion of background check.

The hiring of Gary Krause to the position of Mechanic I in the Department of Public Works at an annual salary of $64,834, effective May 2, pending positive completion of a background check.

"We are very excited to have all of you join. We have a solid group of people working here in Hillsborough," said Committeeman Robert Britting at the meeting. "We are really excited to have you here. I think you are rounding out the team in a really really good solid way."
